Mullick Jute Industries Pvt Ltd or MJI is a Supplier, Exporter and Manufacturer of diversified Jute and other Eco – Friendly products.

The organisation has it’s Registered Office in Kolkata, West Bengal.

MJI has an integrated manufacturing unit in the Suburbs of Kolkata which has a production capacity in the range of 200,000 bags per month and aims to reach a production capacity of 10,00,000 bags per month.

We have a separate sections for the manufacturing of handicraft and exquisite items, which are one of its kind.

Vision

MJI envisages to play the lead role in spreading the awareness for the widespread use of Jute and other eco-friendly products for a Greener Earth and saving Mother Nature from further depletion.

Mission

In the achieving its Vision , Mullick Jute Industries Pvt Ltd would focus on an all round development of all associated with this industry by developing new products which are useful in daily life and has a widespread application and in doing so we would focus on generation of employment and optimum usage of all resources.

MJI is a member of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and Indian Council of Agricultural Research – National Institute of Research on Jute and Allied Fibre Technology (ICAR – NINFET), Kolkata.

We also have a technical transfer alliance with ICAR-Central Research Institute for Jute and Allied Fibers, Barrackpore.

MJI is lead by a team of experienced and multifaceted persons from diversified sectors:

Suchitra Mullick – Executive Director of MJI has a first hand experience in handling different business operations and has played a major role along with her husband, Late Debdas Mullick, in setting up a successful distributorship of FMCG products in Kolkata and is actively involved in all the transactions of MJI.

Supradip Mullick – Managing Director & CEO of the organization, younger son of Mrs Suchitra Mullick and Late Debdas Mullick, is an Economics (Hons) graduate from the University of Calcutta followed by an MBA with majors in Finance and has a work experience of more than 8 years in different industries before taking up the responsibility at MJI. He has played the pivotal role in setting up of the organization by taking up the baton from where his ancestors had left during the time of Late Coonjo Behari Mullick (11.08.1846 – 06.10.1899) a well known Jute Trader and Stock broker during that time.

Debanjana Mullick – Director & COO , wife of Supradip Mullick, is a Graduate from the University of Calcutta with her majors in Bengali (Hons). She has an experience of more than 12 years in the Tele-Serial industry, handling different portfolios, working with many renowned personalities. She is also a talented Indian Classical dancer. She strongly believes in the presence of “Art” in the daily life and has an exceptional talent of giving shape to abstract thoughts and is the decision maker at MJI pertaining to development and designing of products.
